Couple, by slaughtermelon5 Subscribe to rss feed for slaughtermelon5

With windows caked in grime,
the hotel sits in filth,
the streets covered in dirt.
the room filled with dried stains,
the curtains drawn for privacy,
the lights turned off for privacy,
the lights turned off for solitude,
the weeps of a woman fill the air,
the screams of the man drown her out,
the bodies shake,
the bodies quiver,
the cigaret burns half finished in the glass tray,
the smoke curling to the ceiling,
the screams and weeps cease,
the pair begin to hug,
the hair of the other warming their face,
the shallow eyes gaze into the others,
the thin lips twist into a smile,
the weak bodies shake and twitch,
the muscles begging to give up,
the couple leave their embrace,
the table calls to them,
the needle looks tempting ,
the substance injected into their vain,
the belt tied tight,
the blood trying to escape,
the drug rushing to it,
the blood pops,
the veins expand,
the feeling is incredible,
the pair slump on the bed,
the ceiling watches them from above,
the hours of ecstasy turn to panic,
the skin crawls,
the eyes burn,
the mouth swells and the vomit flows,
the insects who reside in their pores, pour fourth,
the foam fills their mouth,
the body spasms,
the pair lay still,
the sun rises,
the girl stands,
the man doesn't,
the name is said, screamed-
the words do not register,
the girl weeps and her cries are heard again-
the couple is no more.
