Two lives living
in two different worlds
same experiences
same torture

One day maybe
the cords will be cut
and the strings of fate
let their lives become one

And two will meet
and realize their the same
find comfort in each other
and be happy someday

But as the world continues on
they remain in sync
marching the same rhythm
but to different beats

And both experience
a near death scheme
and then fate cuts
their wrists
they bleed

And time continues on
their living half-dead
and the cords shrivel up
and they meet each other instead

And the two different worlds
are exactly the same
chasing each other
like the earth rotates

The two lives sync
and they're saved
but will fate still
carry the blades?
