Idiot, by worthlesspoet Subscribe to rss feed for worthlesspoet

She held herself well as she crossed the floor
Many eyes watched as she went to the door
She had been reasonably quiet, but her beauty loud
She easily stood out in this average crowd.
She had a beauty and grace that is hard to find
Because her beauty was shown not on the mind
She did not know the wonder she possessed
She just classed herself as one of the rest.
So she left although merry, she went to her car
It is all right she thought, my home isn't far
So, yes she did drive, and yes she did crash
And that meant that her beauty was gone in a flash
Although she didn't die she had one other debt
Drunk while driving a massive regret
The admiration of her gone, as well as her car
Once a beautiful face, now just a horrible scar
So being 'like the rest' she was quite correct
Just another total idiot to look at and reflect.
