That man who sits in the corner Who looks like he's sat there for years Who casually drinks away his sorrows And typically hides away his fears The man who rarely answers when questioned The man who seems to have no past The one who doesn't change his emotion He just sits and recharges his glass It looks as though his burden is heavy And if his journey has been to long He's now not sure where he is going But he is sure he's going alone The world that is passing around him Seems to be passing him by He's now to insecure to be happy And he's now to tired to cry. You wonder if he was ever happy, Did he have friends, a family, a wife Is this just now a sad ending To what was a wonderful life. You don't know how to ease his pain And he would not want you to try. He's just an old man sitting in an old mans bar Now waiting for his life to die !

This is really good, but I think it could be better. Read it out loud and pay attention to the rhythm. Does it really gel?
