Red, White, and Blue, by souless Subscribe to rss feed for souless

I cry as I wave goodbye

To all these men and women

Going off to die

For those colors

Red, White, and Blue

They call it bravery

They say it’s to help the country

But I ask where it says

That we should murder in cold blood

For those colors

Red, White, and Blue

I’ve heard that the war is for a just reason

That we are helping the people in that country

But I ask what makes us think they want our help

We aren’t sending our people over to help

But to kill

For those colors

Red, White, and Blue

We are over to get gas

To feed the hungry cars

But why can’t we find a better way?

Why do we need to feed those colors

Red, White, and Blue

They say that I just don’t understand

That I can’t understand

But I think I understand all too well

That we will keep killing

For those colors

Red, White, and Blue
