Pink, fluffy clouds
Are hanging above me

And I can only wonder
When the storm is coming

I have been blessed
A thousand times over

Yet, I'm not at ease...
'Til those blessings are squandered

From feeling less-than
By the age of six

To the back of the class
Dunce cap affixed

Early age travesties
Had stripped self worth

I'll bury my resentments
Deep in this earth

What will TOMORROW bring?
ANOTHER Godsend I refuse?

The suspense is killing me
I'd wished it were killing YOU!

You've sheltered me from EVERYTHING
STILL holding my hand

Just determined to ignore...
I'm an ungrateful man
