Reality's Seams, by Shauna DesJardins Subscribe to rss feed for Shauna DesJardins

Breaking at the seams,
Reality's being ripped away from me.
This isn't me,
My hearts torn in two.
One day I'm goth,
Next day I'm country.
Who am I?
Giggling and happy
Sad and depressed
Lost and lonely
seeking rest.
My soul is dried up
From the desert sun.
Every last drop of hope
Wrenched from my heart
I don't feel brisk and cold,
Just hollow and empty.
Something's tugging at me deep inside,
Begging me to break down and cry
