growing up to fast...., by Zeek Lyons Subscribe to rss feed for Zeek Lyons

I had to grow up before I was a man, living life as it came
with no guidance and no plan ,my future was dim ,
and my chances of survival was slim, so I had to push
forward my only option was to win. but when do victory come,
life is a game with no name, without telling me where I am
from, I take the time to process my thoughts that may never
happen .
but the reality of it is that I am my own captain, in charge
of a vessel that can carry me to the promise land, can I
make it ,can I make it, yes I can. where was my father that
I needed from day to day, I cannot be mad at him my own
mother ran him away. but even though she did ,it still took
its toll on my soul, running from death, chasing life,
praying that I get old. with my head tilted back both hands
to the sky, begging for mercy is my existance one big lie,
all I know is that it is a beginning to me, and a end, I am
who I am no need to pretend.my stubbornes will allways make
me want to stay, my eagerness will always make me wanna say,
thank you for those who have paved the way. giving me a
chance at life.
