THE MONSTER UNDER MY BED

"Mam I'm scared of the monster
that lives under my bed",
don't be silly there's nothing there
now rest your sleepy head".

"But mam there is a monster
that lives under my bed
I'm really really scared of it
can I sleep in yours instead?".

"Yes you can stay in my bed
but son you must be aware
that under my bed lives a monster
that stands ten feet tall in the air",

"so yes you can stay in my bed
to rest your sleepy head
and don't worry about the monster
for he has just been fed".

"No that's okay" I said to mam
"I think I'll be alright",
"okay" mam said "goodnight my son"
"mam, will you leave on the light?".
