Magnets, by Shauna DesJardins Subscribe to rss feed for Shauna DesJardins

She was raised from the woods
In Montana country
He was raised from the city
With heavy metal blastin'

She loves the snow
He couldn't tell a white tail from a mule deer
Opposites is what they where anyone could see
Yet like magnets you couldn't keep them apart

She'd never heard of dubstep
He didn't like country
But they both love to run
So they met in cross~country

November 27 he asked her out
She said yes and it was all good for a while
January came and tore them apart
But just like magnets they couldn't stay separate

October rolled around
They spoke again
But by late December
They where done again

April came and they where friends
May came and the flirting began
May 21,
They both admitted their feelings again

Now it's June and school's out
Summer's just begun
They're together all the time
Awaiting whats to come

Currently they're more then friends
But I do not know how this story ends
I hope it ends with a "Happily Ever After"
But God only knows what lies ahead.
