Thief, by Shauna DesJardins Subscribe to rss feed for Shauna DesJardins

He may be a thief,
But he's a thief of my heart.
He stole it away,
When he first said "Hey,".
My brain told me "No,".
But my heart said "Let's go!".
There's a time for goodbyes,
And a time for hellos.
But what's fascinating most
Is the time in between.
They'll lock him away,
When they find him astray.
My heart misses him when he's away.
His hair, his smile.
His handsome, flirtatious eyes.
He may be a thief,
But he's a thief of my heart.
And someday I'll steel his away.
