Confusion, by Shauna DesJardins Subscribe to rss feed for Shauna DesJardins

When to the person you love
You're the person they hate,
What makes the pain worth the wait?

Is love truly strong enough
To trample over hate?
Or is it weak and willing to fade?

If tears could speak
And hearts could scream,
What would they say?

Would they say
"I HATE YOU GET AWAY!" or
"I LOVE YOU PLEASE STAY!"?

Lonesome hearts are the most confusing
Because when they speak
They say:

"I LOVE YOU GET AWAY!"
and
"I HATE YOU PLEASE STAY!"

But which do they really mean?
