Head Held High!, by Tasha Meilleur Subscribe to rss feed for Tasha Meilleur

We are who we are,
You think your a star?
What gives you the right to judge?
You only want to see us budge.
What makes you so special,
When you act just like the devil?
All the words you say hurt,
You always leave us in the dirt!
What goes through your head,
When you see fear and tread?
Do you ever stop to think,
Or maybe stop and blink?
To see what you've truly done,
Just to laugh and have fun!?
You could ruin a life,
Cut through just like a knife.
I hope you stop to see,
We all want to be free.
So no more pain or tears,
No more hiding in fear.
Now everything needs to stop,
Time for us to be on top!
Keep your head held high,
And walk straight right by.
Don't show the fear on your face,
Leave it behind with no trace.
Show them that you have grown,
That your as solid as stone.
No more being pushed around,
Or being shoved to the ground!
As long as your strong,
You will last for long!
