The Snow White Girl, by Belladonna Subscribe to rss feed for Belladonna

The falling snow is white
Roses red, bloom outside the window
On an Ebony night

Threats of the heart
A huntsman failed to kill
Into a forest, the young girl runs

Little was the cottage
in the forest found
A snow white girl opens the door

The cottage was dirty inside
As she made it clean
Everything was in sets of seven

There were seven dwarfs
Letting the snow white girl stay
To keep the house clean

A queen of the evil arts
Jealous of one so fair
Plans to kill the snow white girl

The queen in disguise, gives a poison apple
One bite is all it takes
To put one so fair in to eternal sleep

In a glass coffin, with flowers around
The snow white girl lay still
Seeming to be dead, only in sleeping death

The prince she did love
Gave a kiss farewell
A kiss of true love did break the spell

The snow white girl woke to find
Her love who loved her
The prince who saved her life

The snow white girl
Now the snow white queen
With her love the king
Live forever on, in a child's dream.
