A dream beneath the moon

I found a dream beneath the moon,
And new it was a sign
But knew it wasn't for me,
It was for another love to find.
I held it in my hands
As I walked to her and said
Take this dream God gives you
And lay it with you in bed.
I saw a tear fall from her eyes
But told her not to cry
Because God meant for her to have it
So her life won't pass her by.
As she held it in her hands
She turned to walk away
I smiled and said God loves you
And he'll be with you each day.
