False Tenants, by Albert Ahearn Subscribe to rss feed for Albert Ahearn

The seeming nature presumed to be Man’s
is nothing more than some abstract mode,
Conceived in dreams, contrived within human
Invention: dreamt-up folly episodes.
A dream, often involuntary mind
Sensations, not of serious award;
Consisting mostly of surreal kinds,
Unreal phantoms assuredly ignored;
but some we note in highest places rule
the masses minds. Imaginary creeds
assumed the truth, but nonetheless are cruel
human whimsies borne over time, indeed!
Depose these charlatans! Divest their robes.
Expose their vile intentions. Burn their clothes!
