An Apple Tree, by Phillip Wilson Subscribe to rss feed for Phillip Wilson

A woman
during peregrination
was attempting to make sense
of God.
Her ramblings brought her
near an Apple Tree.
The woman looked up
just as
one of the
delicious
fruits
fell.
As eyes
and life form
fixed upon one another
The woman's spirit
received a message
from the apple's spirit.
"This is my Body;
Take!
Eat!
Do this in remembrance
of Me!"
