The Keeper of My Soul, by athenagoddesss Subscribe to rss feed for athenagoddesss

The wind blows and shifts into many colors,
It whispers your name across the sky,
The leaves caress the morning dew,
As my body shivers with each sigh...

You touch my face with sweet wonder,
Passing amusement from your lips,
The tenderness you give,
Gathers my sorrow to your fingertips...

I seek your eyes and look deep inside,
The person you are,
The person you make me see,
The depth of your soul too far...

To vast a plain which stretches,
Across my soul and my heart,
I seek you, the keeper of my thoughts,
You hold the key that separates us apart...

Search my face and you will see,
What my heart seeks in you,
The keeper of my soul,
The one who knows the morning dew...

The sweet scent of pleasure,
That you find in me,
Like all other stars, you shine,
Brightest in the light of destiny...

You are the keeper of my soul,
The tenderness you share,
And the smile you shine,
Lays my soul open wide and bare...

You strip the one part of me,
Taking control of all my fears,
The sorrow that sheds,
Lays my heart open with tears...

The silent moments,
That we share together,
Running towards our minds,
Like thunder in uncharted weather...

I seek the keeper of my soul,
Tasting the rain on my lips,
I seek you in the storm,
Touching your mind with my fingertips...

I etch your imprint on my heart,
Bleeding the Pain from my eyes,
I surround your arms with my wings,
Stretching us outward toward the sky...

We soar and take flight,
To the depths of our eternal power,
Through the storm, we plunge,
Heading towards nowhere...

You touch my soul,
With every waking breath,
I seek you in the darkness,
With all the love i have left...

I close my eyes,
As i see your face,
Rising above me,
With your sweet embrace...

In dreams we stroll together,
Hand and hand, we glide,
You are the keeper of my soul,
I have nowhere to hide... ...
