Winters Chill, by Avril Subscribe to rss feed for Avril

Winter days are here again,
Outside its minus ten,
Chilly are the days and frozen are the nights,
The suns gaze is now like a cars head lights,
Low and bright its sits in the sky but it’s still just as
cold,
An icy chill refuses to let go of it hold,
The trees look cold alone and bear,
The birds have very little songs to share,
There has been no snow yet this year,
And the sky is blue and clear,
Thunder and lightning now fill the sky,
The dogs are howling and kids cry,
Hall falls like tiny gun pellets from the sky,
There isn’t one bird willing to fly,
The grass is hard and crunches under your feet,
You can’t wait for the warm fire to greet,
You feel the icy wind on your red face,
So you quicken your pace,
Home is very close,
And in front of the fire you will roast.
