Snowfall, by Invisible Poet Subscribe to rss feed for Invisible Poet

The cold has come for me
seeping through my wall
no longer do i have time to be care-free
must stoke the flame, to the hearth i crawl

Glaciers have formed where once my heart did reside
have i completely lost the ability to feel
or will these chasms melt and this feeling subside
which face do you want to see, i forgot which ones real

who do i put on today
who will greet you at the surface
always have people been quick to say
with his soul something is out of place

the words are filled with hollow vibration
and as they ring, melodies emerge so nice
often i myself misplace my soul lost in migration
instead i find my humanity replaced by Ice...
