I wanted to tell you a story about being
Forced to grow up
To move on
Reject the warm bliss child knowledge
Accept the smoldering truth
A change in me as I continued my journey down a darkening
road:
I watched as you took me and beat me
Splattering my innocence across the wall
Leaving me there to rot away my ignorance
The only thing you left was my will
Will to fight
To believe I was the same
As I walked around drenched in my shame
Drowning with your sin
I place this dark memory in my sleeves
But no matter how deep I made the wound
I could not bleed out
It stayed tainting my blood stream
Blackening my heart
Poisoning my mind
Until I figured out
Spill the blood of the offender
To purify the victim
Now I watch as I take you and beat you
Splattering your evil on the walls
Leaving you with your will
Will to fight
To believe you’ll win
As you lay drenched in your sin
Drowning with my hate
I implant the chilling memory in your sleeves
And watch as you bleed out
