The girl who lost everything , by Laura Glossop Subscribe to rss feed for Laura Glossop

Once upon a time there was a girl
a girl who had lost everything in her world
a girl who didn't have one person who knew love
a girl who was full of hatred and acted so tough
Her daddy would beat her, her mum stank of booze
she looked in the cupboard never found food
her tears and her cries unheard and unseen
her boyfriend came along and she thought he was a dream
thought he was her knight in shining armour
but his intention was only to harm her
she ran from the house she was totally alone
no friends and no family and now no home
she cried into the darkest night
her head full of pain her heart full of fright
she looked up to the sky not a moment too soon
she dried her tears and found a room
she picked her self up and she scrubbed up clean
she looked into her mirror and imagined a dream
several years past and the girl was now a mother
she also found a husband who truly loved her
she played the card life had dealt
instead of giving up she found a new self
dreams can be possible for it is true
never give up there is nothing you cannot do
