I reach into darkness 
Looking for I know not what 
I dig and claw and search like I've gone mad
I swipe and think I've found a thing of what I am  not
sure
It really doesn't matter it's got to be better than before
Is it useful I can't say because darkness doth abound
I hope I know in the daylight when I look around
Morning never comes even though it's light 
I don't see anything new from last night
I close my eyes and remember what I felt was it soft what
was the feel
Was it even real
I remember just a squint of what it could be
I think it was a tiny glimpse of who I could be
When I reach again I will try to add on to this thing
So one day once again I may even sing
