(A prosepoem for Sheila)

With her hair down,
She is Eve,
And Lady Godiva.

Hair brushed,
She is Aphrodite,
And Kathy Hargreaves;

Unkempt,
She is Lilith,
And Calypso.

Hair tied back,
She is Calliope,
Erato, and Euterpe,
Or any of the Greek muses.

Hair braided,
She is girlish innocence.
And when she lets it down,
She is womanly wantonness.

And however she may wear
Her beautiful hair,
I am the luckiest man alive;
For I have many girlfriends,
All tied into
This one wonderful woman.
