Chuck Next Door, by Unintended Subscribe to rss feed for Unintended

We used to spend nights together,
Just speaking about it all:
Like your desire to always break my fall
You swore your dedication was forever.

We found an adorable comic:
I'd claimed to be the yellow character;
You would argue since you knew better
Still, we both agreed on relating to it.

Remember that one night we said
We'd run off and do something crazy,
Like daring to take a walk through the cemetery?
We wondered about solitude amongst the dead.

You would play that electro music
I'd wait for you to play those beats
Finding ourselves speaking nightly
We'd never found anything this unique

I saw your darkness behind the light
I smiled because you saw mine.
Some sort of unique, unexpected sign
Had blessed me with perfect sight.

You told me that its best to be me completely
To forget inhibitions, to rip off the cloak
Which used to strangle my throat
All that mattered was your belief in me
