The Ice Queen, by Viskey Subscribe to rss feed for Viskey

The ice queen burst forth
ice crystals for all to heed
my eyes ache from the shimmer
a thousand prisms glimmer
the waves frozen in the sand
looks like tundra, another land
words solidify, faces chilled
outfits to cover feet and hand
in the cave of eternal crisp
in the home of eternal bliss
melting into spring
when birds again take wing
