The End of This, by Unintended Subscribe to rss feed for Unintended

After your sudden departure,
I became a compass
With needles that didn't work
Opportunities with no clear path

I drowned myself
In my own darkness
And I felt the loneliness take over
For a while, I was content with it

Then I pondered and entertained
A crazy idea yet again
Maybe I could find happiness
Of a different sort

The cuts you left have blended
Away, behind a better expression
Now nobody can tell I was hurt
A step forward down a new path

I'm better without you
Some are worth more
You were worth none
I'm not taking this lying down
