Nature is Alive!, by jwhwz
|
The dewy grass is glistening;
The skies are listening;
The winds are whistling.
The sun shines its rays;
On bright and cheery days;
One can hear the blue jays.
The rain drips and drops;
The bunnies and froggies hop;
Blossoms open and don't stop.
The trees stretch to the sky;
Where, flies a butterfly;
We do not ask why.
Mother Nature can be a cheer;
For she created lovely deer;
For man not to fear.
The pretty leaves fall;
Rainbow colors; all;
As precious as a porcelain doll.
Snowflakes wisp and wisp;
The air is sharp and crisp;
Fluently, with no lisp. |
