I Cherish: For Sensho

I cherish the thoughts that you and I share; I cherish the times you show me you care. I cherish that you often think of me; A Mother is much like "The Giving Tree". I cherish the example of strength you've shown; From when I was a youth until I was grown. I cherish that we can make each other smile; Even though, we're separated by many-a-mile. I cherish when you have sought my advice; Knowing I'll be honest and not always nice. I cherish the times you knew I must keep going; Even as the most frigid winds in life were blowing. I cherish that you show me much respect; The way I spend my time; you do not dissect. I cherish your energy from morning to night; That you've never given up without a fight. When the waves of time are rough or calm; I know I've always had my Mom.
