Oh, Wouldn't It Be Lovely, Page 2, by jwhwz
|
Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if a blank piece of paper in
white;
Would fill up with a pretty scene of the night.
Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if three calculator numbers at
which you leer;
Turned all around, and spelled a word for a female deer.
Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if you looked in a mirror;
And three calculator numbers showed a word for a female
deer.
Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if you scrambled [The word in our
chest with which we love];
And came up with [the planet a bird can see when it's flying
above].
Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if eyes of shades of greens;
Turned into blues the colors of jeans.
Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if a pink caterpillar crawling
by;
Turned itself into a pink butterfly. |
