True Friends, by jwhwz Subscribe to rss feed for jwhwz

You must appreciate your true friends in life, and don't
abuse them;
Because, one day, you are sure to lose them.
Friendships must be about give and take;
Because one's thoughts always catch up to one while asleep
or awake.
Either by death or by breaking up;
One day you'll feel like you have an empty cup.
Now, it's your job to fill it again;
You might not know exactly when.
So, you should take it one step at a time;
That is the reason why I rhyme and rhyme.
With a little pink pill and one that is white;
Which I have to take at night;
And, with supporting friends to talk to;
You must choose wisely the advice to walk to.
Because you have many answers in your own brain;
Even if people consider you insane.
You can do a lot with your life;
Even if you are an ex-common-law wife.
Hopefully, things don't have to be taken with force;
After you have decided that you want a common-law divorce.
People should never think I'm stupid;
Even though, I am no gentle cupid.
One can be smart; despite that one is mentally ill;
One can get better with self-therapy and a few pills.

The answers are all inside me;
I just have to use my brain and my heart to guide me.
