I'm No Angel

I don't believe in having sex purely out of lust;
Having a friendship first is surely a must.
Just because humans are mammalian creatures;
Does not mean that animals are our teachers.
But, in my past I have not practiced what I've preached;
For, that I would surely be impeached.
But, if one just lives one's life by acting upon just feeling horny;
One's life has no deeper meaning then being shallow and corny.
Each person is entitled to do what for oneself is right;
Judgement upon others is not my battle to fight.
However, anyone can be a slut;
And be just as pure as a little mutt.
I am not better than others; many mistakes I have made;
Mostly, myself, I did degrade.
But, I am trying to learn as I go on;
Because there's always another dawn.
I hate when people think I'm stupid;
They don't know if I'm a demon or a cupid.
But, tough love has never been right for my heart;
I have to figure it out on my own to make a brand new start.
But, I appreciate friends trying to help me on my way;
It helps to make tomorrow into a fresh new day.
Thanks very much for the help, my dear Paul;
It's often difficult to accept your gall.
But, I know you will always be my friend;
Until the day when one of us comes to an end.
