Oh, Beautiful Child, Page 20, by jwhwz Subscribe to rss feed for jwhwz

Oh, beautiful child;
I see you've made a flower; I can barely see the leaves and
stem;
That just makes me want to look more closely, so that I can
see them.

Oh, beautiful child;
The same kind of yarn I use to make my rugs by latchhook;
You have used to make a picture I could see on the cover of
a matchbook.

Oh, beautiful child; you have used many colors to make your
butterfly;
Even though you made it with one of your stencils,
You made it your own with your colored pencils.

Oh, beautiful child; you did your best to make a waterfall;
There are so many things that you can do;
When you use yarn and scissors and glue.

Oh, beautiful child;
The silly squirrels sit seeking something simple to eat;
Squirrels seem so soft, but they are so speedy; especially
when they're protecting a treat.
