Oh, Beautiful Child, Page 19, by jwhwz

Oh, beautiful child;
I hope you never lose the strong love for simplicity;
Because life is far too puzzling; ask anyone, and they won't
disagree.
Oh, beautiful child;
I hope you never feel that you are lost in the dark; for, I
am never too far away;
Because in my heart; you'll always stay.
Oh, beautiful child;
The world may not always be able to tell exactly what you
have made;
But, I see the trees, clouds, birds and sun; and I am not
giving you a grade.
Oh, beautiful child;
Nothing's perfect; I know you did your best; I praise you
for giving it your greatest try;
And about your artwork, I will never lie.
Oh, beautiful child; what a strange flower;
It looks like it came from another world;
I like best the pretty way that you have made the leaves
curled. |
