Snowflower, by jwhwz Subscribe to rss feed for jwhwz

Across the icy lakes,
And through the snowy sands;
Beside the frozen oceans,
Where you can't fell you rigid hands;
Above the frigid snow clouds,
And beneath the stone cold ground;
A secret lies beneath;
A beautiful blossom can be found.
This plant has a plan that is so grand;
It can grow in any cold land.
You will see that it is quite magical;
It is more precious than a grain of sand.
It is called a snowflower;
It grows with so much power.
It blooms in the rain,
Or in a snow shower.
It begins to unfold;
To uncover so much beauty;
In the heat or in the cold;
It believes it has a duty.
To bring joy to the wintertime;
As a special word brings to a rhyme.
Snowflower, snowflower;
You sparkle and are very sublime.
Snowflower, snowflower;
You are strong, you never cower.
You stand tall, you never die;
Reaching up to the blue sky like a tower.
Snowflower, you are so very pretty;
You have such a blessed life.
You grow in the country and the city;
You thrive in pleasantry and in strife!
