The Year I Was a Vegetarian, 2009 : The Year I Wrote Music

It's wonderful to be a vegetarian; Instead of a barbarian. What's a cow and a chicken ever done to me? Nothing at all; don't you see? I'd rather eat a tomato than a steak; You see; nothing about me is fake. The only problem is that my food isn't filling; But, at least, it doesn't involve killing. Sometimes, I miss the taste of chicken; But, mostly the thought of meat makes me sicken. Not eating meat makes me feel good inside; Know that nothing I eat has died. And, veggies are not at all the same things; They don't have a brain, a body, or wings. There is still plenty to eat for proteins; Like soy milk and nuts, soy meat, and beans. I like being a veggie eater like my Dad; And this lifestyle is not a fad. For, I have changed into a better me; I respect an animal, a plant, and a tree!
