Our Day of Common-Law Marriage, by jwhwz Subscribe to rss feed for jwhwz

It is September eleven, 2011;
It may be a day of hell; but, it also is heaven.
For, I just married my soulmate;
An exciting marriage we have and will create.
For, we are both a little bit crazy;
Imaginative in the mind, and in the body; lazy.
Any ordinary day can turn quite fun;
Because in the morning, our laughs have just begun.
We have really not forgotten;
That ten years ago, this day was quite rotten.
But, we can't watch the news all day and be depressed;
So, we dressed up in our best.
We said our vows to one another;
I added the presence of Jacob's brother.
I decorated with many-a-pretty thing;
And now, I wear my diamond ring.
We may not have a lot of money; but, we have a lot more;
Because our lives are hardly ever a bore.
I love my life with my husband, Jay;
I am so very happy today.
