Secret Love

Secrets we hold in this life we live
Never be sorry for choices we made
The love we share will last forever
Take it to our graves, a promise to each other

There are times when I can not stand
Feelings I get when you’re not at hand
Awful thoughts messing around in my head
Visions of you in another woman’s bed

Price I must pay for loving you to no end
My heart shatters, grieving for your absence
I know I must have fate, in all that you do
And hold on to your words when you say "I love you"

no one must know of the world we created
sharing passionate love knowing it's ungrounded
for we share our lives built with somebody elses
and we both know there'll never be wedding bells

but is it such a crime to follow our hearts?
we never expect us to fall in love
but fate has other plans for us in store
now our hearts collided like thunder storm

Stolen moments all so wonderful and sweet
Shared equally without sense of regret
Endulging ourselves with unrestricted passion
Feasting on forbidden fruit of God's pure creation

We may not have the chance, of a life together
but I guess it's enough, that we love each other
A promise of hope, of our hearts desire
Love found too late, our fate's cruel humour!
