A heart attack in black hair dye, by My.Lovenote.Has.Gone.Flat.XO Subscribe to rss feed for My.Lovenote.Has.Gone.Flat.XO

a million crimson hearts
stopped beating in an instant
as our bloodshot eyes stare
into the massacre that consumed them
our luminous blue jackets weep
we half expect the Pegasus adorning them to fly away
lost souls cry endlessly for their leader
the fluorescent poison that fueled our childish minds
but like our beautiful universe
he is gone
all we learned to love falling apart around us
everything we ever knew seems like a waste of precious
time, taken by the jet black massacre of mangled memories
tempting us with our troubled pasts
everything taken
by the heart attack in black hair dye.
