Cut Loose, by Unintended Subscribe to rss feed for Unintended

Cutting off contact
Is the action I dread
Knowing its for the best
But damaging nonetheless

I'll miss the jokes
You always shared with me
And your love for two dogs
That gave me playful jealousy

Silly man, why would you think
That saying goodbye
Would happen in a blink?
It's a painful sigh

Ignorance isn't always parallel
To a lack of emotion
Quite the opposite - I fell!
Consumed a potent love potion

A heavy heart finds my chest
Lost hope and unfinished dreams
Since I can't be your best
I must go away, it seems

Now I gather remaining strength
To review the past
A future set to rest
Brings me this task
