night, by eleanor maslen Subscribe to rss feed for eleanor maslen

the night is dark and empty,
full of pain and loss

Full of dreams and nightmares,
tears are its only cost

I wish that i was gone,
and that god new my name,

and that my hidden life,
gave me no more pain

Memories do not comfort me,
they make me run and hide

to the devils music dance,
for his law we must abide.

Sing the song of the angels,
there eyes dark with sin

for the devil knows there secrets,
and the pain they hide within

run now child do not look back,
never slow your feet,

for the devil has is eye on you,
at death you both shall meet.

No one can save you now,
your damned into this hell

the only hope you have,
is for your secrets that you tell

he wont slow his haunt,
for them or you too

because hell is your home,
Life is just to good for you
