Enchantment, by jak Subscribe to rss feed for jak

So many hours I've spent drinking from your light
and many more hours fighting the deadly spell of your
glance-

One look, and I'm petrified

You hold so much power in your eyes
you don't even know
The way you sit alone in that classroom, solemnly
Like a lioness watching over her kingdom
While the weaker creatures get to enjoy another free breath

There were days when I could not face you
I could only watch your back.
your
neck
would make Aphrodite jealous

Thoughts of you are the purest that go
through my chaotic mind
They ground me

I think of another girl and
I think of another girl.
I think of you and
my mind enters a tale
like Alice did.

Will I ever talk to you again?
I keep asking...
And when I briefly do
I feel stupefied with pleasure
