The love that was, but now is lost., by eleanor maslen Subscribe to rss feed for eleanor maslen

two hours in a park we waiting for him,
i could see the trust in your eyes give in,

I wanted to take the pain away,
but you just sat and made me stay.

so long we waited our fags ran out,
are beer got warm, we walked about

You talked to him on the phone,
i could hear the sadness in your tone.

I wanted to show him the hurt inside,
that your love got lost and it had died.

after his said he wasnt coming,
you drank so much wine, you starting running

the tears run down thick and fast,
You thought he cared, that this would last.

I called our friends and explained what happened
the light in your eyes, some how saddened.

We sat in that park till the sun come up,
never give up, i love you, my butterup.
