If I?, by eleanor maslen Subscribe to rss feed for eleanor maslen

If i promised not to hurt you, would you let me in?
If i lied and said i lived a life of no sin..?

Would you forgive me, mistakes from the past?
would you try everyday, to make this love last?

Would you look down, and be proud of me?
when inside myself, its only darkenss i see?

When we argue and fight and i leave you to bleed?
would you be the one to call, the one to plead?

When i feel broken lost and alone,
will you be the one to guide me home?

To make me safe in this world of pain,
when my screams echo round in the heavy rain?

When i curl in a ball, and say im done,
will you be my light, my burning sun?

When you know at the end, i will hurt you,
is this somthing you feel like you cold do?

I dont need to be saved, from this life you know,
and just need to run, some place to go.
