the working girl , by harriet1993 Subscribe to rss feed for harriet1993

with high heels and streached black skirt
the lowly girl sets out to work
a fiver here a tenner there
she really hasnt got the heart to care

for her its business for him it's sweet joy
paul, brent or is it roy
for him shes just a toy

a toy, she could have been so much more
a doctor, a lawyer or even a consort.
if she died tonight who in hell would care

she is thrust against a wall
with no care for her soul
but they came and went,
now her time is really spent

with high heels and painted face
she is lost without a trace
