The Jump, by The Stolen Heart Subscribe to rss feed for The Stolen Heart

O my darling do I dare?
Should I jump from such a height?
Would the wind catch me in its hold?
Would I join the birds in flight?
O dearest, dearest do I jump
while words form in the streets?
Would you be there to watch my dive
as I fall from countless feet?
And Baby, what if I get pushed
and I'm not strong enough?
I'm really very weak inside
Though outside I seem tough.
I'm so scared, not of the height,
not even of the drop.
But if I fail and cannot fly
The falling wouldn't stop.
Darling I would surely die
and lose everything I knew.
Is it worth the jump, the fall, the risk
If it meant losing you?
