You Broke Her, by PenToPaper Subscribe to rss feed for PenToPaper

Seeing that smile on her face,
Kills you inside.
She's moved on,
She's gone,
She's no longer by your side.

But when you stop and think,
You see her other side.
It's not hidden in the dark,
It's there in plain sight.

That hoodie she wears.
Hides all her scars.
That makeup she wears
Hides her red cheeks.

She has no life in her eyes,
And wears that broken smile all day.
She isn't strong,
She doesn't know what she's doing.
Baby,
You broke her.
