Four Walls, by PenToPaper Subscribe to rss feed for PenToPaper

Four walls
Standing tall and strong.
Then one day you walked in.

Talking from morning,
Until one of us fell asleep.
Exchanging laughs,
Becoming best friends.

Three walls
Standing tall and weak.
Wanting you to stay.

Walking to class,
Hand in hand.
Those days at the park,
When you'd push me on the swings.

Two walls
Standing and crumbling.
Holding onto you for dear life.

Our first date,
Ending with the perfect first kiss.
Sharing insecurities,
And learning secrets.

One wall
Standing and putting up a fight.
I will never fall in love.

Finishing each other sentences,
Reading each others minds.
Laughing at life,
And never one fight.

No walls
They're all on the ground.
I let you in and you're still around.

Walking on the beach,
Watching the sunset.
You get down on one knee,
And the answer is yes.
