with wings of steel
i shoot upwards
leaving this broken world behind
the fishnet atmosphere is disappearing now
the blanket full of a thousand holes
moving 300km/h away
the world below paints a picture
of her green and blue goodbye
miles of ocean hug the land tightly
they are all each other has got
fighting to protect their sea children
losing to a deadly poisonous game within
my speeding cast iron shield is still soaring
whizzing past markers of advanced technology
rocks, rubble, and beautiful comets
with tear coloured tails
all i have left is myself
lost in my paradise of shimmering stars
my home crumbled before my eyes
from pain anger hate and war
i lost my family, my love
and my soul was stolen from me
the afterburners are silent now
gliding through a black abyss
with diamond shaped stars
the Rings of Saturn will be my home now
they remind me of a deadly cold
Uranus will be my neighbour now
a blue orb in the distance
i will dance on my field of ice
awaiting a supernova
to once again warm my heart.
