The Path

The path I walk on is twisting, jolting, spinning 'round, turning,
Thus making it extreme and difficult to follow.
My direction is off center and my atmosphere is slowly changing.
The path I'm stumbling on is dangerous.
There, up ahead, is a fork in the road.
Which side will I take?
Which shall I stroll down?
My mind is in a tether, for I can't fathom a decision.
The path on the left leads me straight to Hell.
The other, to a life of constant woe.
If I choose Hell, I'll be in internal everlasting pain, but off the walking path.
However, if it's the woe stricken path I choose, I'll be walking forever, no results.
The thoughts of choosing a path is striking.
One step, and my life will be altered no matter which I choose.
But which to choose?
Which would you walk on?
